Hardware Havoc
Are you capable of saving a city of robots inhabiting a computer?
When a sinister group of bots known as The Hakai sabotaged and stole the fan inside a computer, resulting in it overheating, the residents began to panic. What would they do? Their only hope lies inside a hero…
You guide a robot named Rogan through an immense computer that countless robots call home, in an attempt to stop it from overheating and melting its inhabitants. Your goal is to get to the top of the computer (which is split into three floors) as fast as you can to defeat the Shadow, Master of the Hakai. But beware, because if Rogan loses all of his AA batteries to the many hazards along the way, or the computer reaches 99 degrees celcius, it’s game over for Rogan and the citizens.
There are also some hidden items along the way to help you, such as stronger projectiles and extra batteries.

Enemies: I recommend you read this before playing the game.
Hakai Swordsman - Patrols a small area. |
Crusher - Moves vertically. Can only be destroyed from the bottom. |
Hakai Helicopter - Moves continuously in one direction. Comes in two colours. |
Tip: Try to hit the shadow by aiming your projectiles up. You can do this by pressing Up/Down while pressing X
Rocket Guy - Follows you around slowly. Sometimes drops a battery. |
Shadow - The final boss. Moves at the top of the screen, damages you if you come too close. Has the ability to summon Hakai Helicopters. |
Tip: | If you are finding the game too difficult, select "Baby Mode" from the settings menu. Enemies will be easier, you'll start with 6 AA batteries, you won't take damage if you fall in a hole, the time goes slower and some difficult enemies have been removed. You will not be able to save your time on the leaderboard in Baby Mode. |
